Health Care Report

The State Chairmen of the Community Service and Health Care met in March and NYSTRA Walkers was created.
We are encouraging our members to walk in any health events that are taking place in areas across the state, (such as CROP walk, Relay for Life. etc.) I have forwarded the information sent to me by Gywnne Bodie to all the Heath Car Chairs or the County Presidents. There are Event Forms to keep track of the events, who participated, the date and how much was raised for the charity. There is an article in the next York State about the Northern Zone Walkers that might offer suggestions for organizing a group in your area, This project can help to raise awareness for NYSTRA as well as improving the health of our members.
