The Monroe County Retired Teachers’ Association meets 3 times a year and the Board meets monthly.

Organizational meetings occur 3 times a year: September, December, and June along with our monthly Board meetings.

Our dues are only $15 a year.

We welcome parafessionals and administrators along with secretaries, nurses, social workers, psychologists, school personnel and bus drivers..

We have many active Activities including:

Monthly Antiques Luncheons that include speakers on various topics.

Biking group which meets on a weekly basis.

Bowling, weekly; Bridge, weekly; Calligraphy, weekly; Birding, weekly

Caroling twice a year at various nursing homes.

Hiking, weekly during Fall and Spring.

Trips and Slides.

Garden Club, monthly.

Cross Country Skiing weather permitting.

Book Review, monthly.

Our organization contributes to Food link, Disaster relief, nursing home entertainment to name a few.
