 Friendly Service Unit Chairpersons:  Who is the replacement for Ann Wendl,  Monroe County?  Recently, I needed to contact several FS chairs as many state Christmas post cards were returned due to wrong address.  Otherwise,   if you hear of a need, please let them know so that they can inform a FS worker.  Some of our units are geographically large and it’s impossible to know the needs of every retired teacher.  Thanks for helping!

Cards were sent to Joan Irwin (sympathy), family of Bob Wallace (sympathy), Carol Hall (get well) and Rich Byndas (get well) and numerous others.  A retirement card from YOU would be nice to Lisa Dolen as she retires at the end of March. Our zone is remembering the occasion w/ a money gift and card to be presented in Utica.  Holiday greetings were sent to FS chairs for all they do for us.

Personal note:  I have been asked to consider running for State Vice President for Friendly Service, but after considerable thought, I have decided and communicated that I will NOT be a candidate for that post.  I enjoy carrying out my duties here in Central Western Zone.
