We would like to say a special thank you to present and past unit membership chairs and presidents during our eight year tenure.  We have appreciated your help and cooperation.

It is with very mixed emotions we are retiring from our position as CWZ membership chairs.  It has been a pleasure to work with all of you.  We have met so many wonderful people and have enjoyed your meetings.

Membership continues to be a main concern for our organization.  In this changing world and unstable economy we need to be vigilant in keeping and obtaining members.  Personal contact has proved to be the best method to attract new and past members.  A simple phone call, offer of a ride or invitation to an event would go along way to make someone feel welcome.  A reminder of all that our organization offers may also get more interest in joining.  If every member reached out to just one retiree we would be headed to a healthier organization.  It might take two or three try’s but it would be worth the effort.  Risk the contact reap the rewards.

We again thank you for all you have and continue to do.  Membership is everyone’s
job.

We hope to see you in the future.
