Friendly Service Business has been relatively quiet since the holidays. Cards have been sent to the family of Lillian Randall upon her death, Agnes Hudson (former NYSRTA President) in the death of her son Michael, Tim and Carol Quill in the death of Carol’s father, Burt Phillips, surgery, plus holiday cards to FS key workers.

Harriet Beers, State Vice President for Friendly Service, just emailed that since Paul Ryan has blocked off phone and tax numbers and is turning away people with petitions, it’s time to change our tactics.  if you agree, please mail post cards or letters to his home address saying NO to defunding Planned Parenthood, NO to repealing the ACA and NO to privatizing Medicare.
